Tetra Pond Fountain AntiAlgae* removes algae from fountains and water features, permanently. In small biotopes, factors such as an excess of nutrients or too much light quickly result in an unbalanced ecosystem. Those circumstances often lead to prolific algae growth. The active ingredients in Tetra Pond Fountain AntiAlgae* destroy the algae's cell wall. The algae remains are broken down microbiologically, preventing the formation of new algae. This product is particularly effective against suspended algae (green water) and blanketweed, which makes Tetra Pond Fountain AntiAlgae* a reliable algae remover. To achieve the best possible result, shake Tetra Pond AntiAlgae* well before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the included dosing cap, Tetra Pond AntiAlgae* can be dosed very precisely. Tetra recommends two different dosages, depending whether you keep fish or plants in the water feature to be treated or not. For water features with fish and plants add 5 ml per 200 L of water and repeat the treatment the day after. If you want to treat a water feature without living organisms add 5 ml per 10 L of water. This higher dosage could result in short-term foam build-up. Make sure that dogs and cats do not drink from the treated water. While applying the higher dosage, do not untertake any waterchanges for four weeks.
