Tetra’s revolution of the aquatics industry is entering the home stretch

Tetra, the global leader in aquatics with over 70 years of experience and expertise, pushes the revolution of the aquatics industry further forward. What started in the beginning of the year 2024 with the relaunch of Tetra’s whole pond food range under the name of “NutriEvolution” is now ready for its final round. With the relaunch of the tropical food range Tetra is proud to announce the last step of “NutriEvolution”, marking a new era of excellence and sustainability in fish nutrition. Tetra offers what costumers expect from the market leader – the best possible food for their ornamental fish including the groundbreaking “Less is more”-formula.

With a heritage of pioneering innovations, Tetra is introducing a new generation of fish food designed to meet the evolving needs of ornamental fish and the environment they live in. The “Less is more” features high-quality recipes with optimized formulas, boasting fewer ingredients of even higher quality.

Main benefits of the formula

Healthy growth 

The new protein-mix and the included HUFA-Booster (highly unsaturated fatty acids) deliver ornamental fish the right amount of proteins in combination with fats to promote healthy growth. Additionally, the perfect balance of vitamins, fatty acids and immune stimulation support a strong immune system. Studies have proven that ornamental fish fed with the new formulas in the Tetra tropical food range showed the healthy growth they are used to from Tetra. Compared to other diets, fish growth was even better (up to +25%) when fed with the new Tetra tropical food!*

Clear water

The new food formulas also showed that the omission of colourants in the formulas and the optimal utilization of nutrients promote even clearer water! With Tetra’s easy-to-eat formula the water stays clear, and the water quality remains stable. *

Tetra’s contribution to a sustainable environment

In line with Tetra's dedication to sustainability, all Tetra food packaging has been reworked to a recyclable or recycled basis, contributing to an eco-friendlier approach. By extending this approach and utilizing post-industrial recycled materials, Tetra is now able to save up to 520 tons of plastic per year and thereby actively reducing its environmental footprint and promoting a circular economy.

New products in the making 

In addition to converting all feed to the new recipes for “NutriEvolution”, Tetra’s vital Research & Development department has been working in parallel on other innovations, that are already waiting to be released. Among other things, customers can look forward to an expansion of the TetraPro range. And just to give a little hint of what to expect from Tetra in the months to come: after “NutriEvolution” is before “CareVolution”.
